You might think that you have seen everything Motorola Atrix has to offer. This may or may not come as a surprise to you but this device also happens to be the most affordable PC that you will ever find. At $59, you can enjoy the luxury of having your own Desktop. Absolutely a great offer for people who are planning to get the smartphone.
Technically, this dock will not function without your Atrix. As the name implies, it is a Desktop PC dock. To put it into the reader’s perspective, the Atrix performs the functions of what CPU does to an ordinary desktop.
All you have to do is attach your phone to the Multimedia Dock that has three available USB ports which will be directly connected to the HDMI compatible monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Just dock it and you are all set to go. Not only does it function as a desktop PC but also as TV dock / entertainment center application (will be discussed further in the coming days).Same as its predecessors in Motorola; it runs the same operating system, Android 2.2 (better known as “Froyo”). It also uses a complete version of Firefox web browser that comes with Flash 10.1 support.
While your device is on the docking station, it is being charged at the same time. Therefore low battery during meetings and friends night out will no longer be a problem. All incoming calls can still be heard / answered but only through speakers or Bluetooth headphones. A better alternative rather than sticking the multimedia or laptop dock into your ear!
